Lavan takes its case to PhantomPDF Business and never looked back

Lavan, a leading Perth law firm, relied on heavy daily PDF workflows but found its existing editor (Nitro Pro) lacked integration with NetDocuments, the firm’s cloud DMS. Needing secure, mobile access to edit, redact and manage PDFs directly from NetDocuments—and finding Adobe both costly and no better integrated—Lavan sought an alternative that combined full PDF functionality with DMS integration.

They trialled Foxit PhantomPDF Business with 15 users for six weeks and found it fast, stable and intuitive enough to deploy without formal training. PhantomPDF’s NetDocuments integration and features like redaction, OCR, forms and e-signature support were rolled out to about 100 staff, speeding document work, enabling cloud-saved edits, and supporting Lavan’s move toward a paperless office and future deal-book and DocuSign workflows.
