IMGN Technologies, based in Australia/NZ, needed a way to replace pen-and-paper clinical note-taking with a secure digital workflow that improved traceability and reduced manual paperwork. Working with Foxit Software and its MobilePDF SDK, IMGN built the cNotes app for Android, with iOS planned, to let medical professionals annotate, draw, type, write, and sign PDF documents on tablets.

Foxit Software’s PDF SDK enabled cNotes to sync digital notes across devices, support interactive consent and billing forms, and provide customizable UI elements for a smooth, consistent experience. The results were significant: paper use dropped by 90% daily, and more than 100 medical professionals were using the app within two months of launch, helping IMGN and its clients move toward fully paperless offices.
