City of Evansville and Vanderburgh County elects Foxit PhantomPDF®

The City of Evansville and Vanderburgh County needed a more affordable PDF solution because only a small number of staff had access to licenses for creating and editing PDF forms, which limited their ability to build smart forms and streamline workflows. Foxit Software’s Foxit PhantomPDF was evaluated as a lower-cost alternative to Adobe Acrobat Pro that could expand PDF capabilities across more departments.

Foxit Software implemented a site license for Foxit PhantomPDF for all 1,600 government employees, with support for a smooth rollout and easy-to-use training resources. The result was wider access to PDF editing and form creation, successful deployment with no reported issues, and improved security through automatic updates that eliminated the problem of more than 200 vulnerable copies of Adobe Reader.
