Averitt Express, a leading freight transportation and supply chain provider, operates a dedicated fleet delivering from a Nashville distribution center to more than 600 retail and restaurant locations across 45 states. Variability in arrival times created a major scheduling challenge for store managers who needed accurate, predictive visibility to staff unloading without wasting labor. To solve this, Averitt partnered with FourKites and its real‑time visibility platform to bring predictive ETAs and store notifications into the operation.

FourKites used its repeatable integration and onboarding process, trained Averitt superusers, and fed GPS‑ELD data into its machine‑learning ETA engine (updated as frequently as every 15 minutes). The solution delivered up‑to‑the‑minute, highly accurate ETAs and a new notification service on iPads for store managers, enabling Averitt and its customer to calculate precise arrival times, optimize labor costs, and provide a tech‑enabled, more reliable delivery experience via FourKites’ platform.
