Sycuan Casino Uses Digital Signage to Enrich the Guest (and Employee) Experience

Sycuan Casino, a 90,000‑square‑foot San Diego gaming destination that grew from a single bingo hall to a property with 2,000 slot machines and hundreds of digital displays, needed to replace its incumbent digital‑signage provider. The casino sought a unified, scalable, and reliable content‑management platform with robust integrations, remote deployment (no more USB updates), live‑TV streaming and remote control, and the ability to extend digital signage to both guest‑facing and back‑of‑house communications.

In 2012 Sycuan implemented FWI’s enterprise Visual Communications platform and expanded its network from 100 to 232 displays, managing table‑game signs, dynamic menus, kiosks, promotional screens and employee feeds from one system. FWI enabled remote high‑resolution deployments, live TV with tablet control, integrations for real‑time staff content and custom features (chandelier color control, bus schedules), driving stronger guest engagement, streamlined operations, improved employee communications and measurable ROI, with plans to unify all remaining displays under the platform.
