A leading nationwide healthcare system with more than 190,000 employees faced a critical communications challenge: traditional channels like email, flyers and intranets were ineffective for front-line staff without dedicated computer access, leading to disengagement, higher turnover and a proliferation of ad-hoc, nonstandard initiatives across facilities.
The organization piloted FWI’s digital signage across 50 screens in five medical centers, using collaborative content authoring and integrations (including SharePoint) to deliver a mix of corporate and local messages with governance and timely updates. The pilot scaled to 700+ screens systemwide, streamlining workflows, improving employee engagement and retention, and reducing decentralized communications efforts while achieving enterprise-wide standardization.
