Digital Signage is a Key Component in the Taylor Family Digital Library

The University of Calgary’s Taylor Family Digital Library (TFDL) needed a better way to manage digital signage across its kiosks, video walls, and wayfinding stations. Its multiple legacy platforms lacked the flexibility and functionality required for real-time space information, integrations, and modular video wall support, prompting the university to look for a single solution from Four Winds Interactive.

Four Winds Interactive helped consolidate most of the TFDL’s digital signage onto one content management platform, enabling localized content, an interactive directory, wayfinding, bus schedules, computer availability, and event updates. The result was streamlined content management across 35 kiosks, five media walls, and 84 interactive meeting rooms, while also supporting innovative displays like a 17-foot modular video wall game installation.
