Courtyard by Marriott launched a brand refresh to create more social, functional lobby spaces and modernize guest amenities, but needed a scalable, customizable way to deliver consistent hotel information while also surfacing location‑specific travel, dining and event content across more than 1,000 global properties. The challenge was to provide an intuitive, interactive visual communications solution that could be replicated enterprise‑wide and manage a large volume of localized content.
Four Winds Interactive developed the GoBoard, an interactive digital signage platform with a customizable welcome screen and dedicated pages for travel, local attractions, hotel info and dining; FWI also provides program management, content updates and remote monitoring. The GoBoard rolled out to 1,000+ locations in 42 countries, generates nearly 6 million interactions annually, improved guest engagement and brand consistency, and freed hotel staff by outsourcing ongoing content and system management.
