Pickup, a same-day and scheduled delivery service for large items with 126 employees and operations in over 75 service areas, needed a single platform to sort high volumes of applicants (50–100/day) and reduce costly applicant drop-off during onboarding. Facing abandonment at stages like vehicle-image uploads and after paid background checks, Pickup turned to Fountain and its platform workflows to get better visibility, automate communications, and prioritize quality candidates.

Using Fountain’s Universal Applicant View, tagging and multi-user indicators, automated SMS/email, ID verification, and rearranged workflows (adding a pre-orientation and moving manual steps earlier), Pickup reduced drop-off, sped up hiring across 12+ cities, and improved candidate quality.
