NOX VFX delivers 100+ shots in five months with Foundry

NOX VFX is a freelance visual effects studio founded by compositor Henrique Reginato. The challenge was launching a new studio during the COVID-19 pandemic, which required finding an affordable, industry-standard compositing solution to build the business without the high cost of a full software license.

Foundry provided its Nuke Indie software, a cost-effective version of Nuke that offers the same core functionality. This allowed NOX VFX to immediately begin working on projects for major clients like Disney and Hallmark. In its first five months, the studio delivered over 100 shots using Nuke Indie, enabling successful collaboration with other freelance artists and establishing the new business.
