Futureworks, a VFX studio, faced the challenge of recreating 1940s Bombay with a high level of historical realism for the film Ae Watan Mere Watan. Their previous workflow was unable to handle the scale and complexity of large-scale scenes, such as a pivotal speech delivered to a massive crowd.

Foundry's Katana provided the solution with its scalable architecture and Graph State Variables, enabling efficient handling of high-resolution assets and complex data. The integration of Katana, including its Nuke Bridge feature, streamlined the pipeline, allowed for faster iteration, and removed previous application limitations. This empowered Futureworks to complete over 800 shots, meet a tight post-production schedule, and confidently take on more complex, CG-heavy projects in the future.
