A Foundry Case Study
DIGIC, a Hungary-based animation studio, was tasked with creating a high-quality, photorealistic CGI launch trailer for the video game Assassin's Creed Valhalla. The challenge involved managing a significant number of assets and complex environmental changes across shots, all within a tight seven-month production schedule. To meet this, they utilized Foundry's compositing software, Nuke.
Foundry's Nuke provided the solution by enabling a highly efficient and flexible pipeline. Its deep compositing capabilities, template system for automation, and robust memory management allowed DIGIC's team to quickly iterate on looks and achieve a photorealistic result. The use of Nuke was integral to successfully delivering the visually spectacular and critically acclaimed trailer on time.
