R.V. Carey’s Plumbing & Heating is a family‑owned contractor (since 1979) with a growing contracting division and a 24/7 service operation. As projects and service territory expanded, their longtime use of QuickBooks couldn’t provide the detailed job costing, subcontract and change‑order management, multi‑state payroll, multiple inventory locations, service dispatch or mobile capabilities they needed.
After a year of evaluation they implemented FOUNDATION in fall 2016 and went live January 1, with training and strong vendor support. The system gave project managers immediate job‑progress data, tighter controls and accountability, fewer spreadsheets, integrated dispatch and billing, and an Executive Dashboard with drill‑downs — improvements that have increased visibility and operational efficiency across the business.
