A team of four to five staff members took days to manually match, tag, and route documents to the correct claims adjuster, leading to frequent mistakes and backlogs. To solve this, Branch partnered with Foundation AI to implement its FAI Platform for document intake.

The solution from Foundation AI used proprietary AI to automatically classify documents, match them to the correct claim, apply the appropriate Snapsheet tags, and task the responsible adjuster. This resulted in 80% of documents being processed automatically with no human involvement.
