Community Foundation of North Central Washington - Customer Case Study

The Community Foundation of North Central Washington (CFNCW) is a small regional foundation serving Chelan, Douglas, and Okanogan counties that needed a modern, integrated system to manage grants, donors, and finances after struggling with older platforms (FIMS and Blackbaud) that were not user-friendly or integrated. To address these challenges CFNCW selected Foundant Technologies and its CommunitySuite solution to centralize grantmaking, donor access, and financial tracking.

Foundant Technologies implemented CommunitySuite to integrate grantmaking, financial accounting, online donor access, reporting, and a public grant catalog, streamlining approvals and making processes paperless and faster. As a result CFNCW improved administrative efficiency, gave donors 24/7 account access, expanded online giving, and used the grant catalog to collect more than $2.3 million for wildfire recovery; the foundation now manages 400 funds and has increased community engagement and granting since adopting CommunitySuite.
