How Fotoware SaaS enables CROW to work with images securely and flexibly

CROW, a Dutch non-profit technology platform for transport and infrastructure, needed to securely manage and protect its copyrighted images for use across its publications and online communities. Their existing on-premises Fotoware Digital Asset Management (DAM) system required migration to the cloud to align with the organization's strategy and to provide essential flexibility for remote work.

Fotoware implemented a migration of CROW's on-premises system to its cloud-based SaaS solution, Fotoware Veloz. The process, completed in a couple of months with a joint team, was successful with no loss of data or metadata. The results included a system that is always up-to-date, with maintenance responsibilities shifted to Fotoware, eliminating downtime. The migration also provided an opportunity for CROW to better organize its assets and improve metadata, with future plans to expand the DAM's use to include documents and PDFs.
