A Fotoware Case Study
The White House Historical Association, a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and sharing the history of the White House, faced challenges with a static and inefficient digital asset management system. Their old system made it difficult to organize both public and internal archives and involved a time-consuming, multi-step manual review process conducted through email and spreadsheets. To overcome these inefficiencies, they implemented the Fotoware Veloz digital asset management solution.
Fotoware provided a central storage solution with multiple, distinct archives and automated, customized approval workflows that streamlined the entire review process within the DAM system. The results were significant, enabling the association to manage over 300,000 digital assets for 4,000 users. The solution also included integrations, such as a shopping cart for image sales and a CMS API, which dramatically reduced the time to fulfill image requests from days to just a few hours and provided new revenue generation opportunities.
