The City of Sacramento needed a comprehensive, component-level facility condition assessment across its downtown portfolio of 204 city-owned buildings and assets, spanning a wide range of facility types from public safety and utility sites to parks, museums, and recreational venues. FOS of CannonDesign was brought in to document existing conditions and support capital planning, using its FOScore® platform as part of the process.

FOS of CannonDesign completed a deficiency-based assessment covering structural, architectural, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and technology systems, while also incorporating the City’s self-assessed mechanical and roofing data into FOScore® for analysis and final reporting. The result was a detailed condition and capital planning deliverable that exceeded expectations, leading to additional awarded services for FOS of CannonDesign.
