The City of Buffalo worked with FOS of CannonDesign to build a more practical, forward-thinking facility management program. Faced with the challenge of maximizing resources across a large portfolio of city-owned buildings, the city needed better visibility into facility conditions, emergency preparedness, and asset data management.

FOS of CannonDesign delivered facility condition assessments, quick-action emergency plans for police and fire departments, and integration of facility data into CMMS and GIS systems. The solution helped Buffalo implement a multi-year facility management strategy, launch preventive maintenance and a new work order system, and improve decision-making across more than 200 buildings and 3.3 million square feet of owned space.
