City of Bozeman assesses 32 buildings with FOS of CannonDesign for smarter capital planning

The City of Bozeman managed a diverse portfolio of municipal facilities but lacked complete information on its buildings, making it difficult to manage assets and budget for repairs. FOS of CannonDesign was engaged to perform a facility condition assessment (FCA) to understand the condition of high-priority buildings and their financial needs.

FOS of CannonDesign implemented its proven FCA process and utilized its FOScore® data collection software to develop a central dataset for all city buildings. This provided Bozeman with defensible decision-making information, enabling the city to accurately prioritize maintenance and plan for future infrastructure needs. The initial phase assessed 32 critical buildings, with 100 additional assets planned for future assessment to help the city proactively budget for maintenance.
