HAMBS Leverages Forum Sentry to Securely Expose APIs

HAMBS, a provider of the Hospital and Medical Benefits System application for Australian health insurance involved integrating a wide range of applications with different authentication methods, all while ensuring the highest level of data security. Forum Systems was selected to address this with its Forum Sentry API Gateway.

Forum Sentry provided a security-first solution that supported multiple authentication protocols, including OAuth 2.0 and Basic Auth, and enabled SOAP-to-REST conversion. The no-code approach of Forum Systems allowed HAMBS to quickly provision and deploy new APIs, creating an agile and easy-to-maintain policy platform. This modernized the HAMBS infrastructure, preserving time and resources while better serving their customers.
