AssetMark, a leading wealth management and technology solutions provider, faced a challenge centralizing its identity and access control technologies for its eWealthManager portal. They needed a high-performance, on-premises policy enforcement point to secure single sign-on (SSO) and multi-factor authentication (MFA) for diverse user groups. To meet this need, AssetMark leveraged Forum Systems and its Forum Sentry product.

Forum Systems implemented Forum Sentry as an in-line API Security Gateway to secure AssetMark's Okta SSO implementation. The solution manages secure SAML 2.0 flows to Okta's MFA service, validates successful authentication, and authorizes access. This allowed AssetMark to achieve high customer satisfaction by delivering a fast, modern, and secure SSO experience for all its users.
