Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History reaches 3.5 million people with Forum One

The Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History's Office of Digital and Innovation sought to engage younger Millennials and Gen Z audiences with its first pan-institutional initiative. The challenge was to move beyond a traditional website to connect with this demographic through a meaningful, multi-channel campaign centered on the theme of resilience. Forum One was selected as the digital and strategic partner to bring this project to life.

Forum One developed a dynamic, omnichannel experience for the "Kaleidoscope" project. The solution included a bilingual website, a campaign playbook, and targeted advertising on platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Spotify, YouTube, and Hulu/Disney+. This approach successfully reached 3.5 million people across all 50 states within its first six months, achieving the goal of introducing a new generation to the Smithsonian.
