American Red Cross wins 2014 Acquia Partner of the Year with Forum One

The American Red Cross faced the challenge of creating a global resource center that was accessible to a wide variety of users, including governments, NGOs, and citizens, often in low-bandwidth areas. They partnered with Forum One to build the Global Disaster Preparedness Center (GDPC), which required a responsive and multilingual solution.

Forum One implemented a Drupal-based solution featuring a fully responsive design with lightweight graphics and multilingual support via the Entity Translation module. The result was a first-of-its-kind knowledge base and online community, which was recognized with a 2014 Acquia Partner of the Year Award for its design and user experience. Forum One provided users with powerful search tools and clear pathways to find information and interact, building a safer and more prepared global community.
