ALS Association unifies 39 chapters with Forum One

The ALS Association, a national nonprofit dedicated to fighting ALS, faced the challenge of determining its next steps following the massive success of the Ice Bucket Challenge. They sought a major digital transformation to unify their disparate digital properties and improve the user experience for their audiences and stakeholders. They partnered with Forum One for a comprehensive solution involving digital strategy, a CMS migration to Drupal 8, and integrations with Salesforce and Classy.

Forum One implemented a new, standardized digital ecosystem built on Drupal 8. This solution included a Create Once Publish Everywhere (COPE) model to streamline content management across the national organization and its 39 chapters, and a geolocation feature to personalize user experience and donation pathways. The results empowered the ALS Association to amplify its message consistently, manage content more efficiently, and provide donors with the choice to direct their contributions to the overall association or a specific local chapter. Forum One's work created a flexible platform that allows the organization to focus less on technical issues and more on its mission.
