Ozark Motor Lines is an irregular-route truckload carrier serving the continental U.S., operating about 450 company trucks plus 225 owner-operator tractors from terminals in Memphis and Lebanon, Tenn. Facing the challenge of keeping satellite tracking data from Qualcomm synchronized with its Innovative Computing System i database, Ozark also needed automated customer reporting, fast bank reconciliation and fuel auditing — all with a small programming staff.

Using SEQUEL (in place since 1995), Ozark automates file handling, data joins and reporting (email, Excel, PDF, FTP) via the job scheduler and integrates with CL and Client Access.
