Robot SPACE Tracks Data Growth Across 10 Banks for Heartland Financial

Heartland Financial USA, Inc. is a $5.7 billion multi-bank holding company based in Dubuque, Iowa, operating 10 independently chartered banks across 81 locations. As the company pursues rapid growth (aiming to double in size every 5–7 years) and maintains separate Fiserv libraries per bank, it needed a way to track, manage and control disk growth and accurately allocate costs across its banks.

Heartland implemented HelpSystems’ Robot CPA for cost allocation and Robot Space for disk-space management, giving them month-by-month library histories, graphs, threshold alerts, and user-level space reporting. The solution enabled automated notifications, clearer accountability for heavy users, allocation of storage costs back to banks, ongoing monitoring of library growth, and data analysis that created room for continued expansion.
