Robot Increases Efficiency and Automates SilverLake for Alpine Bank

Alpine Bank, a locally owned Colorado bank serving over 130,000 customers across 38 locations, faced a backlog of manual IBM i processes and unreliable job runs that required administrators to manually change processing dates and keep an overnight operator on duty. With a small iSeries team and dependencies on Jack Henry’s SilverLake upgrades, jobs were wasting resources or terminating without notification, creating risk and inefficiency.

Alpine Bank implemented HelpSystems’ Robot Schedule, Robot Console, and Robot Alert to automate job scheduling, subsystem management, end-of-day processing, saves, ATM and credit card uploads, and integrations with SilverLake, Vertex, jhaPassPort, and IBM iSecurity. Paired with message and resource monitoring that sends email and text alerts, the solution eliminated the need for a night operator, increased operational efficiency, improved reliability, and reduced manual intervention.
