EVRY, the largest IT company in Norway with over 10,000 employees and more than 14,000 clients, needed a more efficient way to monitor 89 IBM i logical partitions across three data centers. The goals were to eliminate time‑consuming manual tasks, improve support team productivity, enable remote monitoring and management, and ensure SLA compliance as the infrastructure scaled.
EVRY selected Halcyon’s IBM i Server Suite and Enterprise Console mobile app to provide a single, cross‑platform view of system activity, two‑way alert handling, and automated housekeeping. The solution integrated with existing HP Operations/OpenView tooling, reduced alert noise through exception‑based monitoring, enabled administrators to acknowledge and resolve issues from tablets and phones, and delivered faster response times, elimination of manual tasks, and efficient monitoring across all 89 LPARs.
