Humphrey Products, a Michigan-based pneumatic valve manufacturer, needed a better way to manage documents after its unsupported Windows-based DMS was discontinued by Microsoft. The company was especially challenged by engineering drawing control and manual paper-based routing, and it turned to Fortra’s Webdocs and related document management tools to find a more robust, centralized solution.

Fortra implemented Webdocs and Webdocs Creation & Delivery to automate document workflows, centralize storage, and improve version control across the business. Humphrey Products uses the system for engineering drawings, accounts payable, and supply chain packets, saving 20 hours per week in AP and 10 hours per week in Supply Chain while reducing paper, improving access, and keeping documents from getting lost.
