MainSource Deploys Information Faster, More Easily, and More Robustly with SEQUEL

MainSource Financial Group, a 110-year regional bank, needed faster, easier access to customer, account, mortgage, and loan data to support regulatory and operational reporting. Its legacy IBM Query/400 process was slow and programmer-dependent, and the bank required a solution that could work across its multiplatform environment (IBM i, SQL Server, etc.) to deliver timely, accurate information.

MainSource deployed Sequel Data Access (with Esend for automated distribution) to provide a user-friendly GUI, on-the-fly data manipulation without coding, and direct connectivity to DB2 for i, SQL Server and other sources. The change sped report turnaround, enabled enterprise-wide dashboards and regulatory reporting, eliminated reliance on Query/400 and custom code, integrated with Fiserv systems, and enhanced automated report delivery and support.
