Plan International, a child‑centered NGO operating in 60 countries, needed to maximize system availability while operating with minimal IT resources. With systems running near capacity, after‑hours support was high and disk space and spooled file storage were particular pain points.

Plan replaced outdated tools with four Halcyon products—Disk Space Manager, Spooled File Manager, Advanced Job Scheduler and Restricted Task Manager—to automate jobs, archive spooled reports to PDF, and run unattended weekly backups.
