Their existing electronic signature system was clumsy and unreliable: signatures weren’t always reliably attached to the correct documents, marketing couldn’t change pad images without vendor help, and frequent failures forced staff to revert to paper, slowing check‑in and hurting guest experience.
Borgata implemented HelpSystems’ Sign Here and Webdocs to capture ESIGN‑compliant signatures, merge them directly with registration forms, and store documents in a browser‑accessible repository. The solution—integrated across their Windows and IBM i environments—proved far more stable, eliminated paper backups and related transaction costs, improved guest satisfaction, and gave marketing the flexibility to update signature‑pad images; Borgata also plans to expand Webdocs for broader document management.
