Delivering Best Practice With Data Classification For Allianz Greece

Allianz Greece, part of the global Allianz Group, needed to strengthen protection of sensitive customer and corporate data and align with EU data-protection rules and Group best practices. The organisation wanted a proven data-classification solution—able to operate in both English and Greek—and to replicate successes seen in other Allianz divisions.

They implemented the Boldon James Classifier suite (File, Office and Email), piloting in IT, configuring bilingual labels, and rolling out to super-users before full deployment. The solution made classification simple and enforceable, raised user accountability and data awareness, enabled controls such as blocking email sends or printing of sensitive files, ensured compliance with Group standards, and set the stage for department-specific labels and enhanced reporting.
