A Large Construction Firm needed to better protect sensitive architectural plans, technical drawings, and other intellectual property shared with employees, partners, and thousands of contractors through Box, Google Drive, and Salesforce. The company also struggled with unmanaged devices, shadow IT, and the risk of malware entering cloud collaboration tools. Fortra helped address these concerns with Fortra CASB and its cloud data protection capabilities.

Fortra implemented CASB with native DLP, EDRM, and AVAM to enforce consistent policies, encrypt sensitive files, control access, and block malicious uploads. The solution also gave the IT team visibility into shadow IT across more than 16,000 known apps and helped quarantine threats before they spread. As a result, the Large Construction Firm could collaborate more securely, revoke access when needed, and reduce risk across thousands of third-party users.
