Major Retail Bank relied on a cloud-hosted customer banking portal and an internally developed mobile app serving millions of customers worldwide, but needed confidence that these systems could withstand real-world cyberattacks without exposing customer data, disrupting transactions, or damaging trust. Fortra used Core Impact to run recon, scanning, exploitation, persistence, and reporting exercises, including vulnerability validation, phishing simulation, and testing for privilege escalation, lateral movement, and data exfiltration.
