Lantum Protects Sensitive Data, and Ensures Compliance with Fortra CASB

Lantum, a U.K.-based workforce platform serving more than 37,000 clinicians and 3,000 healthcare organizations, needed to protect highly sensitive clinician and employee data and prove compliance with standards like ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials to remain an NHS supplier. Reliance on Google Workspace created visibility and access-control gaps, raising the risk of inappropriate access, external sharing and data exposure, so Lantum required tighter cloud data controls and better protection against insider threats.

During ISO recertification Lantum implemented Fortra CASB, quickly gaining full visibility into data, devices and users across Google Workspace and cloud storage, plus tracking of PCI and sensitive health data, audit and redaction capabilities, adaptive access controls and continuous monitoring. The fast deployment delivered immediate value—reduced exposure risk, automated compliance evidence, secure hybrid collaboration—and gave Lantum the controls and insights needed to protect data and continue serving the NHS.
