Lupriflex, the long-established safety footwear manufacturer, wanted to push its sustainability efforts beyond product innovation and reduce emissions from its transport logistics. To support its goal of becoming emissions-free by 2050, it turned to Forto for a greener freight solution, including rail and sea freight services with a focus on sustainable transportation.

Forto implemented end-to-end logistics from China to Germany and Belgium, covering sea and rail container moves, customs clearance, fiscal duties, and onward trucking, powered by second-generation biofuel. This cut 100% of transport-related greenhouse gas emissions for Lupriflex’s first container shipment, while Forto also provided certified emissions reporting and third-party verified documentation to track progress transparently.
