Totto, the Colombian handbag, apparel, and accessories company, was growing quickly and struggling with slow, error-prone order fulfillment, crowded docks, and poor inventory visibility across its nine distribution centers. Fortna designed and implemented a new 26,000-square-foot national distribution center with new equipment, a warehouse management system upgrade, and streamlined processes such as put-to-store, cluster picking, and value-added services. The results included a 400% increase in shipping capacity, order cycle time cut from 7 days to 48 hours, inventory reliability above 99.8%, and an expected 25% productivity increase.
