Pat Primo, one of Colombia’s most important retailers, was struggling to keep up with rapid growth, manual warehouse processes, and limited space while trying to support both large store orders and fast-moving premium brand stores. The company turned to Fortna and its supply chain/distribution center expertise to help design a new, more efficient distribution operation.

Fortna designed and implemented a 4,500 m² distribution center with a Warehouse Management System, new picking and packaging processes, and labor management and business intelligence tools. The results included 30% higher productivity, 7% improvement in lead time and service levels, better inventory capacity, and the ability for Pat Primo to handle multiple order types simultaneously and support future growth.
