Westminster School Partners with Fortinet and Nuago

Westminster School, a coeducational day and boarding school in Marion, South Australia (founded 1961, ~1,250 students), needed to replace an ageing, unmanageable network and firewall that caused slow speeds, throttling at checkpoints, disabled security features, and limited monitoring and reporting—leaving the campus and student data more vulnerable to threats.

The school selected Fortinet (FortiGate and FortiAnalyzer) with implementation by Nuago. The new solution delivered immediate inbound and outbound threat protection, automated continuous risk assessment, restored reporting and visibility for planning and investigations, and enabled role-based permissions for staff. Ongoing training and Fortinet certifications have increased ICT autonomy and improved the school’s ability to manage and respond to incidents quickly.
