Vólus, a Brazilian payment company specializing in benefits cards and corporate expenses, faced challenges in boosting system availability and tightening network security to comply with financial regulations during rapid expansion. To address this, they partnered with Fortinet to upgrade their security infrastructure.

Fortinet implemented a solution using FortiGate Next-Generation Firewalls to protect on-premises data centers, public clouds, and branches. They deployed FortiGate virtual machines in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and used FortiClient EMS for zero-trust network access, alongside Fortinet Secure SD-WAN for connectivity. This provided Vólus with a cost-effective, high-performance network, achieving high availability for real-time payments, robust cloud protection, and increased visibility across their IT infrastructure.
