Case Study: Asia Commercial Bank achieves zero intrusions and scalable network security with Fortinet

A Fortinet Case Study

Preview of the Asia Commercial Bank Case Study

Vietnam’s leading financial institution relies on Fortinet for security

Asia Commercial Bank (ACB) is one of Vietnam’s leading private banks with more than 100 branches. Rapid network growth and the rollout of online banking and securities services increased exposure to viruses and other threats, so ACB needed a robust, easily scalable defense to protect customer data and maintain transaction confidence.

After evaluating vendors, ACB selected Fortinet for its integrated firewall and intrusion-prevention capabilities and strong local support, deploying FortiGate appliances at headquarters, the card center and 20 key branches with FortiGuard services. The deployment has prevented any security-related intrusions or downtime, protected card and core-banking data, and positioned the bank to expand online services—ACB plans further investment in Fortinet management and reporting tools to scale protection as it grows.
