A Fortinet Case Study
Petrol Ofisi, Turkey’s leading fuel, LPG and lubricants company with more than 1,800 service stations and extensive storage and terminal operations, needed to modernize its network to support a growing digital services portfolio. The IT team aimed for 100% business continuity by replacing expensive MPLS/satellite links with lower-cost DSL/LTE in active‑active configurations, while retaining centralized security and minimizing onsite engineering for deployments across thousands of remote branches.
Petrol Ofisi implemented Fortinet Secure SD-Branch—combining FortiGate Secure SD-WAN/NGFW, FortiSwitch, FortiNAC, FortiExtender and centralized FortiManager/FortiAnalyzer management—to deliver integrated SD-WAN, LTE redundancy and unified security. The rollout reduced device count and deployment complexity, eliminated costly MPLS/satellite links, improved connection reliability and application performance, cut support cases and operational costs, and enabled centralized policy-driven segmentation and faster threat detection.
