The Carolina Panthers Use Fortinet Unified SASE to “Keep Pounding” Security, Both On-Premises and Remote

The Carolina Panthers, part of Tepper Sports & Entertainment, needed stronger security for both on-site and remote users while protecting sensitive scouting data and meeting NFL/MLS requirements. Their multivendor environment made it hard to see and manage threats across the stadium, practice facilities, and remote locations. Fortinet Unified SASE, along with FortiGate firewalls and FortiManager/FortiAnalyzer, was chosen to simplify and strengthen their security posture.

Fortinet implemented a unified security architecture that extends consistent protection to 500 SASE users and across on-premises and cloud environments, including Azure. The result was better visibility into threats, improved data loss protection, faster response to attacks, and easier in-house management with less training overhead. Fortinet also helped close security gaps from the old multivendor setup, giving the Carolina Panthers a more transparent and secure network.
