Sisag AG, founded in 1985, is a leading European supplier of funiculars, chairlifts and cable‑car systems that also delivers the OT control and monitoring systems those installations require. Faced with the need to digitally integrate OT and IT for remote monitoring, data-driven services and product expansion—while maintaining airtight safety and network isolation for passenger systems—Sisag needed a secure, high‑performance networking solution that would work in harsh alpine environments.

Sisag selected Fortinet’s FortiGate NGFW with FortiAP to create secure OT/IT zones, identify industrial protocols, and inspect encrypted traffic without degrading performance.
