Rapid Adoption of Fortinet’s Secure SD-WAN Solution Continues with Customer Deployment Momentum

The District School Board of Niagara (DSBN) is a K–12 public school district in Ontario serving over 36,000 students across 79 elementary and 20 secondary schools. With a geographically spread network and a small security team, DSBN needed a way to secure inside and outside threats while ensuring safe, reliable Wi‑Fi and access to digital learning resources.

DSBN deployed Fortinet Secure SD‑WAN appliances and architecture with AI/ML capabilities to provide end‑to‑end network protection and eliminate single points of failure. The solution enabled secure use of SaaS and cloud services, supported collaborative student learning on protected devices, and did so affordably—freeing funds for other educational initiatives.
