QubicaAMF provides bowling centers with safety and remote technical support via Fortinet solutions

QubicaAMF, an Italy-based leader in bowling and entertainment systems and creator of the Conqueror Pro management software, needed a secure, non-intrusive way to provide remote technical support and software updates to diverse customer networks worldwide. The company wanted a scalable, easy-to-manage standard solution to replace a proprietary firewall so it could support everything from small centers to large chains without disrupting existing systems.

QubicaAMF deployed Fortinet appliances (FortiGate-20C/40C/60C/300C) managed centrally with FortiManager, with partner Vem assisting prototyping and rollout; the project went from selection to global implementation in about six months. The solution enabled site-to-site VPNs, remote monitoring and updates, faster deployments and a hybrid-cloud setup, improved payment security, transferred firewall management to technical support, and delivered roughly $280,000/year in networking cost savings while expanding global installations.
