Jungle Jim’s International Market, a popular international-foods retailer in the Cincinnati, Ohio area, needed stronger network security as it moved to PCI Level 2 compliance. The company had to protect guest Wi‑Fi users, corporate systems, and point-of-sale/payment data, and turned to Fortinet and its FortiGate next-generation firewall to replace its previous “secure routers.”

Working with Fortinet partner Secure Cyber Defense, Jungle Jim’s implemented FortiGate enterprise-level NGFWs to segment its network and better safeguard transaction data. The result was improved protection across the business, with the IT director noting that Fortinet solutions secured the network in ways it had never been before and helped the company meet its PCI compliance goals.
