Nagasaki School Leaders Choose FortiEDR to Protect Their District from Ransomware

The Nagasaki Prefectural Office of Education, implementing Japan’s GIGA initiative to provide devices and high‑speed connectivity across remote islands and mainland schools, faced a growing ransomware threat and new MEXT security guidelines that expanded their attack surface and required stronger endpoint protections—yet they needed a solution that balanced usability and budget.
